I'd love some book recommendations. Nothing super heavy, but maybe some good fiction or memoirs? I also love short story collections, and YA literature.
Let me know your favorites.

You might enjoy "Special Topics in Calamity Physics" by Marisha Pessl- we're listening to it in the car. It's long and will probably strike some notes with you and keep you occupied for a little while. It has little to do with Physics, and isn't heavy. Check out the review in the times: http://www.nytimes.com/2006/08/13/books/review/13cover.html Can't think of the others I've read recently but I'll check - you probably recommended (or left) most of them anyway!! Love, YVVLM
I just finished Michael Beschloss:"Presidential Courage: Great Leaders and how they changed America 1796-1989." I started reading it because I had nothing else that sounded interesting, and contrary to my expectation, found it both fascinating and amusing and hardly put it down! LYP
One of my favorite books that came out last year is "The Selected Works of T.S. Spivet" by Reif Larson. I did exactly as you described in your poem and savored every word once I knew I was nearing the end. Penguin did an amazing job with this book, and it MUST be owned in hardcover. You need need need to read this.

"Wishful Drinking" by Carrie Fischer. A good entertaining read you can finish in an afternoon.

I just read a memoir that you may enjoy called Burnt Bread and Chutney. It's about an Indian Jewish American woman.I found it interesting.
