Seattle 45, or Frivolous Post of Pretty Things

From the delightfully creative Dr. Gus at Etsy (an online retailer of homemade stuff), a pendant made mostly of watch parts.

From online designer website eShakti, a summer dress, and a skirt (no, not a lampshade). I've taken to wearing skirts and dresses on my days off because I am specifically not allowed to wear them at work. Jeans now feel like work clothes.

those are some pretty things.
i <3 eshakti, though i've never bought anything off of the website. i guess i just love the idea that there's a place where i can get clothes made to my body's specifications without paying a million dollars. lately i've been trying to blame clothes that don't fit me, instead of blaming my body for not fitting clothes. sites like that make it easier. (hmm, i think i just came up with the topic for my next blog entry).

Gillis - Yes! This is precisely one of the reasons I love eshakti too, though I've not bought anything from them either. For the moment, it's just eye candy.

OH MAN I WANT THAT DRESS. Though...maybe not at that price. But it's really really pretty.
